i am totally disconnected from saturday till now… from home to Internet. Broadband was broken until now and ETA is today 8pm. hope hgcbroadband really no lie on the fix as i am working hard for work everyday.
fyi, i connected to internet via free wifi at 7-11 from midnight till 3am on monday. believe it or not!!
it’s one of the busiest 6-week in my life. i’ve been traveling to and from tokyo 3 times in 6 weeks.
i hardly find the last day of every trip to out for a while. however, i managed to go tokyo fish market at 6am twice and got some strawberries back to hong kong. i am on the way to tokyo now and hopefully come back on saturday.

i managed to wake up at 5:30 and planned to go tokyo fish market to have a look (and for breakfast). however, i know from the front desk the market is closed for business today. aiya, i forgot to check the market calendar before i go :(
also, i couldn’t see snow on sun / mon which was forecasted by yahoo weather. however, there is snow this morning!! maybe i could go out for breakfast at 7:30!!
i am going to tokyo for biz trip next week (jan 20-24). planned for 3.5 days for business and my agenda is full of meeting already. i hope i can find out all my needs or i may have to extend 1 more night.
have check with yahoo weather and whole week will be below 10C. just notice i may have the chance to see snow on monday.
anyone have any good place to eat? around tokyo station / ginza? i will stay near tokyo station and i don’t think i will go far away in this weather condition.

yes. i’ve been in network operation over 8 years after graduation. recently, i am decided to change my field from network (technical) to business resiliency (non-technical). it’s an internal transferral and it will be effective on 5-feb-2007. i will stay in jpmorganchase. i will also on the same building and same floor, but i may have to change my phone number.
i need to learn from the ground and i hope i could take over it. i will be very busy till end of may-2007 as my schedule is already full.

today is 2nd of chinese new year… we were very busy today as we have markus with us this year. we have to spend extra hour for his bathing and eating in the morning… additional activities have been added to our daily agenda.
b’cos of chinese tradition, we have to visit our parents for meals to celebrate the new year. markus wore a d&g t-shirt, jeans and a chinese style suit on top (like a 老外 or 鬼佬)…

i took a dayoff today and brought markus and his mom (my wife :) to tai tam reservoir. weather was very nice. we took 2 hours from parkview park to tai tam reservoir. yesterday was weekday and we saw <10 people in the park.
i carried my nikon d70s with “nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D af ed” lens which is from my brother. it’s nice as i learnt to use fast lens to shoot portarit which can highlight the subject and blurred the background. however, all big birds gone in autumn time. maybe i should try to shoot big bird in spring 2006.

chris and i got a nikon dslr d70s and we think we have to spend few hundred to learn how to take photo instead simply use the ‘auto’ button. finally, we have raymond yue + rocky to join us as well.
today, i’ve finished a 5-day basic photography course at studio le pin at $900. it’s quite good actually. learnt the basic concept, portriat photography, outdoor photography, night photography and also commerical photography.
i learnt lighting is very important element when you want to take a good photo.

ps. chris can’t join the last lesson as his little baby girl is giving birth very soon. he accompanied his wife in hospital. let’s congratulation him!!
b’cos of markus, we sent dingding and onon to jacky poon (irene poon’s brother) home for 3-month. we keep the promise and we brought them back today.
i think there are 2 groups of people in the world: they accept pet with baby AND they don’t accept pet with baby. toppy and i belongs the former group, but both our parents are not. that’s why we sent them to temp home for 3-month.
in these 3 months, onon should be ok as she was from irene’s family. she gains weigh as well. however, dingding was pity. we know he has fight with ball-ball. ball-ball’s nail was broken and dingding hurt on his palm. he had toliet in dining room or on sofa while he was in jacky home (i feel very sorry for jacky).
our parents will come regularly. we have to do somethings to prove we are able to keep pet with markus. i installed a Surefix Pressure Fit Safety Gate from mamas and papas. i hope i can keep cleaning the apartment everyday. we believe they could live together :)
